What is the difference between the Double Dipp'd VIP Program and the Powder Perks Program?

For those of you who are not aware, we have two ways to earn rewards on our website.  I understand that this can be confusing so hopefully this breakdown helps!  

While we have had Powder Perks since 2019, In July of 2024, we unveiled a NEW VIP program for all customer accounts.  (Powder Perks are described further down)

VIP PROGRAM

When you first sign up for your DD account, you are placed in the "Mani Enthusiast" Tier.  I'll explain all 3 Tiers below:

• Mani Enthusiast - Beginning Tier
• Mani Trend Setter - Earn 1,500 Powder Perks to attain
• Mani Designer - Earn 3,000 Powder Perks to attain

You will receive a $5 order discount when entering Mani Enthusiast Tier

You will receive a $25 Gift Card when entering Mani Trend Setter Tier

You will receive a $50 Gift Card when entering Mai Designer Tier

*VIP Rewards expire 6 months from the date earned ONLY for the VIP Rewards (VIP and Powder Perks are not the same thing.  Although you reach new VIP Tiers based on Powder Perks, your Powder Perks Rewards coupons are separate from VIP Rewards. 

When a customer reaches a VIP tier, they keep it:

• For the remainder of the current year
• For the entire next calendar year

POWDER PERKS ("Points")

For every dollar spent on our website, you will earn 1 Powder Perk.  To redeem your Powder Perks, you'll visit your Rewards center either in the Customer Hub or through the Menu at the top of the Website (My Account > My Rewards).

When redeeming your Powder Perks, you will need to read the fine print under the Redemption for specific details on how to redeem and use your Powder Perks code. On January 1, 2026, we changed our Points Program and added new earnings and rewards rules.  Emails were sent out and a blog post was posted about these changes back in December.

Generally, only 1 Code is allowed per transaction, UNLESS I have activated a special code and have made it combinable with another code such as a Sub discount code or our DDFANS10 code.  (Note: even if combinable, you will only receive one discount per product.  By using both codes, the system will apply your special code to whatever it is that is controlled by that code and your other discount code will apply for everything else in your cart that is allowable with that code.)

If you redeem a Powder Perks reward, it will expire 7 days from redeeming if you do not use it.  (If you redeem then realize you are not going to use it within 7 days, message me on the website chat to reverse it.  I would rather do that than have you lose the reward.)

Powder Perks will expire upon 1 year of no activity.  I will add examples below.   All of your points will expire if you have not earned or redeemed points for a continuous period of 1 year. We will always warn you before your points expire. You will receive an email 30 days prior to points expiring and a final email 3 days before.  READ BELOW:

In essence, what this means is that your points will expire 1 year from the last activity IF YOU DO NOT HAVE FURTHER ACTIVITY.  Activity is defined as redeeming rewards or earning rewards. Points will not expire if you remain an active part of our shop (purchasing and redeeming rewards).

Important: To prevent spam complaints and maintain email deliverability, points expiry emails are not sent to customers who:

• Have unsubscribed from “promotional” emails, or,
• Have never placed an order/earned points from an explicit action

This means that customers whose points were awarded via a points import (this is a rare occurrence) and have not otherwise participated in the program will not receive any kind of email before their points expire.
