Glow Powders

Who doesn’t enjoy a vibrant glow? Dip Powders containing glow pigments will illuminate in the dark after being charged under a high-powered light. These powders typically don’t glow straight from the jar; instead, they require exposure to a UV/LED nail lamp or a strong LED flashlight for optimal charging. Sunlight can also activate the glow effect. The intensity and duration of the glow depend on both the amount and type of glow pigment used. Powders with higher concentrations and certain pigments can glow repeatedly without frequent recharging. The most effective glow pigments are White, Green, Blue, Blue/Green, and Yellow, which produce bright, lasting glows. In contrast, Purple, Pink, and Red pigments tend to glow less intensely and may need more frequent charging. Additionally, the base color of the dip powder influences the glow’s hue; darker powders generally result in a dimmer glow.
