Collection: Mermaid Powder Collection

Our Mermaid Powder Collection consists of 12 Mermaid Powders!  They make the prettiest look and will look different over different colored bases.

Mermaid Powders are NOT dip powders.  While there are dip powders that contain mermaid powders in them, these are specifically used basically in two ways.  

One way you can use the Mermaid Powders is with Gel Top by burnishing them into the top of the nail. The procedure is much like using chrome, however, Mermaid Powders are not actually powder.  The consistency is more like a glitter.  They are a size down from the finest glitter.  Curing time of your Gel Top will also need to be adjusted based on the fact that the "powder" is more coarse.

The second way you can use Mermaid Powders is by encapsulating them in Clear Dip Powder.  Since they have absolutely no Dip Powder in them, they act more like a glitter.  You also cannot just dip a glitter.  By adding a Clear Dip Powder to the top of a Mermaid Powder, you are now able to activate it with Dip Activator and thus use a Dip Top on the finished look.

Both of these ways yield a different look when complete!
