Instructions - Using Rubber Base Gel

  1. Prep and cleanse your nails and push back cuticles
  2. Apply your Bond/Primer to the entire nail
  3. Apply 1 layer of Rubber Base Gel as a "slip" layer (this is a regular layer that will be used to easily glide your layer on top.  DO NOT CURE YET.
  4. Take a generous size bead of rubber base gel and begin at the cuticle area by floating the brush back and forth across the nail keeping the brush in contact with the bead at all times.  This should cover the entire nail.
  5. Hold your nail upside down for 10-30 seconds or so allowing the gel to form an apex
  6. Immediately flip hand over and cure according to bottle
  7. Repeat until nail is as desired
  8. Wipe nails with an alcohol wipe
  9. File and buff as needed

*IMPORTANT: Make sure to cure all gels the appropriate amount of time (according to the instructions on your bottle).  All gels are not created equal and have different curing times.  Additionally, strictly UV lamps cure differently than LED and UV/LED lamps.  Make sure your lamp is a minimum of 48 watts.  Lamps also do not last forever, if you notice your gel isn't curing correctly or it stays soft, get a new lamp. I suggest replacing after about 2 years if you use it often.  Extending the curing time will help until you purchase a new lamp in a pinch.
