Glitters
Glitters come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Our creations primarily use polyester glitter, though some may include reflective resin-based glitter or thermal glitters. Additionally, these glitters can contain other elements like flakes, foils, and pigments. We classify our glitter dip powders by size: fine glitter is the smallest, typically around 1/128 inch, though some fine glitters measure up to 1/64 inch. Medium glitter usually measures about 1/24 inch and consists mostly of tiny round shapes. Large or chunky glitters are the biggest in size. Many of our glitter powders are “mixed,” combining various glitter sizes to add depth without excessive bulk, making them easier to work with than purely chunky glitters. For best results, always encapsulate glitter dips in clear powder before filing or buffing to prevent removing color from the glitter itself.
