With 2025 lurking around the corner, it's time to reveal my "secret" for the New Year! But first, let's do a 2024 wrap up and review a few things that happened this past year here at Double Dipp'd!
- We released 12 Shimmers of the Month during our monthly "shimmer" themed dips.
- We made 12 Monthly Muse colors
- We celebrated 6 years of Double Dipp'd in business
- Adelyn released many more new dips and she became more active in our business
- We started our long awaited Gel Polish line
- We added Acid Free Primer and 3 new Rubber Base Gels to our brand
- We opened our Amazon Store where we sell our Complete Dip Liquid System and some of our most loved Premium Dip Powders in 1 oz.
- We moved to a slightly larger and less cluttered space
- We began a new VIP Program
- We released a lot of new dip powders
So, planning for 2025 and beyond, I can tell you that we are planning the following things:
- We will continue to release new Gel Polishes (on a limited basis). I will concentrate on Gel Polishes that are unique and fun!
- We will continue our Monthly Muse contest
- We will continue weekly contests resulting ultimately in a "special" NEW Dip powder as a prize. However, awarding a $5 gift card prize twice a week will be phased out in 2025. I will award ONE contest powder at the end of each week by entering all participants into a spin wheel where one is randomly chosen. The only prize will be our 2025 specially made dip powder and for 2025 that color will be "Diptastic". 52 Prizes for 52 weeks!
- We will be bringing on a Low Odor Dip Base and eventually a Low Odor Dip Top. (The Low Odor dip top is in the works, but because I want it to have a shiny finish more like our standard Dip Top, it is not done yet).
- I am looking into bringing in full Soft Gel nails. These are expected to be the equivalent of the Gel-X brand.
- Our color of the month for 2025 will be "solids". But, with a twist. In January, I will have all 12 solid dip powders prepared. I will conduct a "presale" for the entire set of 12 at a discount. After that, the dips will only be available individually each month (1 each month) until they are sold out. Other than the initial window in January, you will not be able to purchase the entire set of 12 together.
- I will begin adding new dip powders to the main line and replacing many of the ones that currently contain BPO (Benzoyl Peroxide) with 100% BPO free pure dip powder.
- Each month, 3 existing main line dip powders that pair nicely together will be placed on sale for $15 as our "Trio of the Month". Purchased separately, they will be regular price. Our Brand Ambassadors will be choosing most of these trios (one each month) and I will choose January and December.
- We will offer more limited and special Collections
- I will concentrate on making Resins that are applicable to dipping. This would entail dip trays, marble dip trays, bottle holders and possibly some trays. I will take custom requests on any other items I have made in the past when I am able.
- To be fair to Quarterly Subscription members, and because our Dip Powders are taking a price cut, I will not be discounting full Collections. You will be free to use a discount code to purchase them.
- Life is always changing, as is the evolution of dipping. I'm sure there will be more to come in 2025!
Ok, for the SURPRISE! Beginning on 1/1/25, we will be LOWERING prices on ALL of our dip powders! Our regular powders (now priced at $8.50 per jar) will be priced at $7.50 per jar. Additionally, our premium powders (now priced at $12.50 per jar) will be priced at $10.00 per jar. I know what you are all thinking...WHAT?! We will still be selling all dip powders by volume as we have for just about the past year. Please remember though that some filled prior to February of 2024 are still those that were filled by weight (1/4 oz). There aren't many of those left, but occasionally you may receive a jar that is not full and this is the reason why.
As most of you know, our "Powder Perks" (Point Rewards system) is one of the best in the industry. While I have stated in the past that your rewards will never expire, something small will change in 2025. Powder Perks (rewards points) will not be applicable on permanently discounted/sale merchandise. This will include Starter Kits or any bundled and discounted items, such as our Trio of the Month. As a rule, Powder Perks haven not been and will not be applicable to any Resin items and Handmade Mani Sleeves.
Also, I have incurred price increases on most of our liquids over the past year. While I have kept them the same since our first inception, I can no longer. All Gel liquids, Builder Gels, and Rubber Base will increase by $1.00 per bottle. For the time being, our Dip Liquids will stay the same.
I am looking forward to 2025 with another fabulous year of making custom dip powders that are safe and healthy for you to use. We will continue to carry nail items that do not knowingly pose harm to anyone. Please be conscious of your own nail/skin health as well. Unfortunately skin allergies can happen to anyone at any time. If you should notice something not looking or feeling right, always discontinue use of that product and seek medical attention should you feel the need.
